For Virtus.pro, one of the main sensations of TI12, 2024 was a year full of qualification matches, but the Bears failed to make significant gains at major tournaments. Early exits in the group stages of tournaments such as BetBoom Dacha Dubai, DreamLeague Season 22, and Elite League eliminated their chances of qualifying for The International 2024 via direct invitational.

This year, Virtus.pro dropped out of the regional qualifiers for TI13, losing to 9Pandas and L1ga Team. Despite this, the summer wasn't completely lost for the team: they qualified for the Riyadh Masters 2024, which didn't bring VP dividends either.

It became clear that the new season should start with a new roster, but only the experienced Fng was kicked out of the roster and replaced by Immersion, who is still ‘under review’ and was taken just for this qualification.

Night Pulse

Night Pulse was founded in 2023 with the signing of players Ashen, int'j, alym, vlone glo and Pima. Despite finishing second at Winline Insight Season 4, results in other qualifiers were poor and in February 2024 they assembled a squad predominantly made up of Kyrgyzstan players. However, this squad did not perform well either, and was disbanded in March.

In May, the team returned with a more experienced roster including V-Tune, Worick, Kami, JANTER and Hduo. This lineup became a dark horse in the CIS region, finishing 3-4th at the RES Regional Series: EU #2, the team's debut tournament. Then they travelled to Dubai bootcamp to participate in the weakest qualifications for the Riyadh Masters MENA, where they took third place, failing to qualify.

The team started the new season by qualifying for the BB Dacha Belgrade tournament, where they failed to qualify against 1win and L1GA TEAM. New qualification is a new challenge, but few believe in this team.
