Having sacked Pitso Mosimane, one of the best coaches in Africa, Samy Komsan will replace the South African coach as they search for his replacement. He fell out with the management after their disappointing displays in the league and the champions league this season.

Al Ahly have managed to win twice in the last six games and are four points behind Zamalek in the first place; however, with three games yet to be played, Al Ahly stands a chance to overthrow Zamalek if they manage to win all their outstanding matches.

The Red Eagles are nothing short of average in their recent performance with a scrappy win on matchday 15; two goals in the 95th and 98th minutes secured them their first win in five matches; however, against Eastern Company, the Red Eagles pulled up one of their greatest performance this season when they defeated the visitors (4-1).

It has always been exciting against Zamalek as Al Ahly have not tasted defeat in the last three games against the White Knights.

Al Ahly haven't lost a game at home this season, with seven victories and a draw in the last eight matches.

The White Knights finally returned to winning ways, having lost back-to-back home games this season, which was very unusual for them. They lost two matches last season when they finished as the league winners. The league is becoming more competitive as more acquisitions of clubs keep coming; it will be a miracle if they manage to retain the league this season.

They stumbled on a home defeat against ENPPI (0-2) before an unsatisfactory performance that saw them fall for another loss against El Gaish (0-1). They failed to score in any of those defeats as their attacks continued to misfire; however, Zamalek got the much-needed win against struggling Ismaily before the International break. Not too impressed with their performance as they fought back to snatch the lead in the 63rd minute, all thanks to Omar El Saeed, who secured them the three points in a (2-1) encounter.

They remain the best team on away form this season with eight wins and a loss in the last nine games. They have also conceded the joint lowest goals (6)away from home this season; however, they have earned nine points from a possible fifteen both home and away.

In the last twenty meetings between both teams, Al Ahly won eleven times, Zamalek recorded six victories, and three matches ended in a draw.

The Cairo Derby have produced BTTS in the last five games.

Al Ahly have not lost in the last four games.

One thing is certain here, there won't be a clean sheet; however, we are tipping the home team to get all the points for 1.70.

A BTTS won't be a bad option for 2.25.

Al Ahly needs to make up for their CAF Champion league letdown to win the league, and three points from this match can prove to be the title decider as time passes; bet on a home win and over 1.5 goals for 2.01.

Good luck!
