Enyimba Aba vs Zamalek SC Prediction: The guests stand a better chance of securing all the points here

Following their poor display in Egypt a few days ago, Enyimba Aba will strive to flip the script when they face off against the defending champions at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Sunday. The hosts' last win in the continental tournament was a (2-0) victory over Al Ittihad SC in 2021, and they’ll have to be perfect in all departments to get anything away from this game against Zamalek.

The 2024 CAF Confederation Cup winners have been pretty solid this season. The White Knights, who have been clinical since winning the CAF Super Cup against Al Ahly, head here with a (4-0) victory over Ghazl El-Mahalla in their domestic league.

Jose Gomes' side possesses the quality to defend their title but must avoid unnecessary errors to stand a chance against this group.

At the same time, the Elephants' hope of making it to the next round is in jeopardy after watching them against Al Masry in Egypt. They lack consistency and seem to be lost in the final third. 

Zamalek are a well-established side and have the quality to upset any team in this competition. Enyimba Aba will play this game on a neutral ground without a huge number of their fans, and this game will be judged based on both teams' quality. Zamalek SC are my favourite pick here, and I expect them to win or draw and score less than two goals for 1.96.

I also think this game will end in a share of the spoils at the break for 1.79.

Zamalek SC could even win this game; bet on an away win in either half for 1.78.
