Dundee FC vs Livingston Prediction: A low goal scoring contest expected

Just one week after playing each other in the opposite stadium for the first time, Dundee will host Livingston at Dens Park in a match that will count for the Scottish Premiership. Livingston were knocked out of the playoffs by two late goals scored by Joe Shaughnessy, and they will be trying to get their own back at a location where they have been successful in recent years.

However, scoring goals has been an issue for them, as only the team in the worst place, St. Johnstone, has scored fewer than their nine. Dundee had not given up a goal in their previous three games, but the Glasgow giants completely humiliated them by scoring five goals without replying. Even though Dundee are now in ninth place, the majority of the league is quite close together, with only a few points separating fourth place from eleventh place.

Livingston - DWLLL

Livingston completely dominated their previous trip to Dens Park, which took place in February 2022. They defeated their rival by a score of 4-0 thanks to an outstanding performance in the first half, which allowed them to take a three-goal lead into halftime. Going into this match, however, David Martindale will be hoping that his team can avenge their late loss from the previous weekend by extending their unbeaten streak at this stadium to five games without a loss. However, in order to accomplish this, they will need to put an end to their current losing streak of three games in a row, which has caused Livingston to fall to 11th place. Given that Livingston only lost two of their first seven games, and those losses came against Rangers and Celtic, the recent bad run has not come as something of a surprise. After this game, Livingston will face two of the top three teams in the league, the Rangers and St. Mirren, so it is imperative that they put an end to this losing streak as soon as possible.
