But the promotion of Omer Riza has proved to be correct since they are on an unbeaten run of five matches both before and after the international break. This good spell of form does boast three victories and two draws, all at the same time of three excellent win over Millwall, Plymouth Argyle and Portsmouth, so at times, they must wonder what they ever did wrong.

Their magnificent revival was evidenced in a 3-3 draw against Middlesbrough recently; they climbed back into the game after being down to 3-1 by Carrow Road.

Riza may keep the Cardiff team on board as it was in the game after the West Brom draw, but one player, Aaron Ramsey, will not feature. Kion Etete might come back in for the first time this season from hamstring strain. Norwich is going to be surely required to make at least one or two changes as Kenny McLean has been handed a suspension, and his probable replacement will be Jacob Sorensen. Christian Fassnacht and Tony Springett will likely be in the team if they train well this week. The match is going to be interesting because Cardiff is improving under Riza's management, but their recent form shows that Norwich can get a positive result.
