Mozambique presently occupy the 5th spot on the table, and this is their best chance to move up.

Somalia

The Ocean Stars are yet to feature in any competitive tournament before and have played twice this year. Somalia began their journey with a (3-1) defeat on the road against Algeria, followed by another home loss against Uganda. At the preliminary AFCON Qualifier, they were knocked out of the competition by Eswatini on (5-2) aggregate. 

Somalia are one of the lowest-ranked teams in this tournament, and their prayer here is not to concede much.

Mozambique showed some decent performances in the just concluded AFCON Tournament, even though they ended at the bottom of the log. Mozambique played out a (2-2) stalemate against Ghana and Egypt. Since the tournament, this will be their first appearance in a competitive match. At the same time, the guests have struggled in recent matches and have played just two games this year.
