The third matchday of the Korean elite league pits the Gangwon Kodiaks against the Yukong Elephants, two teams settled in the mid-table and bottom step respectively. An interesting variant of note in this game is that the two teams have been on target in their last two games, with a win and a loss as performance tags in their first two games.
The last two meetings between the sides produced victories for the Kodiaks, and while goals are highly likely for the two camps, a feisty exhibition is expected.

The Kodiaks dusted their first day loss (2-1 to Daegu FC) last week in a redemptive 2-1 attempt against Pohang steelers in a game that saw them trail from behind despite an early deficit which trailed till the late moments of the game, when Ji Ho Lee scored from two defensive errors, giving his side victory.
The Kodiaks always begin slowly, but for the twist in their fates last week, they may have fallen to a narrow loss. They need to begin with urgency as every matchday comes with various surprises, which an early slip or lacklusterness would cost them
TEAM UPDATE: Jeju United

Two goals in the first two league games for the Yukong Elephants provided one win and a loss. While their opener against Seoul was a slide, they faced resistance against boys from the Sangju City, Gimcheon who coerced them to a red card. The team had various testament from both halves, with a lead in the first half but a swift change in luck saw them trail after the referee’s full time whistle.
C. Im’s professional ghoul as the last man earned him a red card, and possible replacement to fill his shoes could be either Jae Uh Kim or Chang Woo Rim.
