Historically, Hungary is one of the world's most successful national teams. Now the Israeli national team has a new head coach. Hazan was replaced by Ran Ben-Shimon, whose last job was AEK Larnaca in Cyprus. Ben-Shimon has worked with other clubs in Cyprus as well as Israel, and in addition, he coached the Cypriot national team from 2017 to 2019.
