Ismaily vs Petrojet Prediction: The home side are extremely weak at the back

Ismaily will fight for their first win of the season when they square off against Petrojet at the Ismailia Stadium on Sunday. The hosts will hope for a better outing this time, having played twice without a breakthrough since the campaign began.

Ismaily

The Drawish side have started the season poorly, heading here with a win and a defeat over their previous two games. Ismaily suffered their first loss of the campaign, conceding just once against a formidable Ceramica side. Ismaily managed two shots at goal throughout the game, but none were able to find the back of the net. 

Ismail have managed one win since in their last fourteen league matches and kicked off their campaign with a share of the spoils against ten men El Mahalla. Ismaily were literally in charge of the game after the guests received a red but couldn’t find the back net. 

Ismaily have failed to improve their squad this season and we think they’ll suffer this campaign. Ismaily have lost four consecutive games on the road in the league. 

Petrojet

The newly promoted side have had difficult fixtures but came out unhurt against Pyramids and Future FC. Both teams finished in the top six last season, and for a Petrojet team to have split points against them tells me they mean business this season. They settled for a (1-1) stalemate against Pyramids and Future FC. 

Petrojet have a decent squad and a very experienced coach, and we expect them to finish strong. 

Expert Betting Tips

Over their previous nineteen meetings, Petrojet have won twice while Isamily have managed eleven wins and five games ending in a tie. Ismaily didn’t really sign any top players during the transfer window, and they lack the quality to compete with the top guns this season. They boast a good record against their guests but we don’t think they’ll be able to maintain such a run here.

Petrojet have shown positive signs in recent games, going toe to toe against two of the best teams in the division. I’ll literally be back to at least secure a point here.

I also think the guests will score before the break for 2.70.

This game will produce more goals after the break for 2.22.
