Napoli lost on the road to Inter and now will have another away match - in Genoa against Sampdoria. Will the guests win this time?

As the team with the worst offense in the first part of the season, Sampa strengthened its offensive line by signing Sam Lammers from Empoli. The Dutchman was not involved in Sampdoria's first game since the break against Sassuolo, but the Genoa side scored twice and secured a vital victory. It was 2:1, thanks to goals from Gabbiadini and Ogello. It's too early to say they are coming out of the crisis, but the situation doesn't look hopeless. Sampdoria jumped to 18th place in the standings, only five points behind 17th.

Napoli

In the opening round, after a pause in the championship, Napoli had a match on the road against Inter. They failed to live up to that challenge, losing 0:1. It was only their first defeat in the league this season, but the gap between them and their rivals shrank considerably. Napoli is still the Serie A leader, but AC Milan is just five points behind, with Juventus seven points behind.

Expert Betting Tips

Napoli is fortunate to be facing Sampdoria, one of their most comfortable opponents in recent years, after their disappointing match against Inter. The Neapolitans are likely to be better offensively, even despite the absence of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, than they were at the Giuseppe Meazza and pick up three points. At the very least, there is no reason to believe that Sampdoria can expect at least a draw here.
