Liberia vs Togo Prediction: Both teams will not settle for a defensive play

The Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier, and in one of the first-day matches of November break, Liberia will play Togo at Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex. Heading into this matchup, the winning chances of both teams are close. Will there be a winner, or will a draw be a huge result?

Liberia will hope to secure their first win in this Africa Cup of Nations qualifier after struggling in the first four matches. However, in the Africa Cup of Nations' last qualifying encounter, Liberia lost to Equatorial Guinea. In four matches played, Liberia had one point accumulated while losing three games. With two goals scored and seven conceded, Liberia are seated in the bottom spot of Group E standings. 

Togo

Togo's last encounter was against Benin in the African Nations Championship, and they settled for a 1-1 draw. In that encounter, Togo needed an early strike by Kokou Kloukpo to put them in the lead before a 90th-minute Adam Ramzy denied them a maximum win. However, Togo's last encounter in the AFCON qualifier was against Algeria, and they lost 0-1, with Ramy Bensebaini denying them a point at full-time. Heading into this game, Togo have two points after four matches in this qualifier, a possibility that they will not make it to the main tournament. The road team scored four goals in four matches while conceding nine.

The meetings between these nations ended with a close scoreline, with Togo slightly dominant in the early 2000s. However, in recent times, the two teams have approached it with competitiveness, as there is no better side between them. While the first leg of this game ended in a draw in September, I still do not see a different outcome here. This should be close, but I do not expect either side to sit at home. Take both teams to score while settling for a full-time draw.
