Two of the most exciting teams this season will go toe to toe at the Bishan Stadium on Thursday. The Sailors have shown signs of a champion after seven games without a defeat but face a stern test ahead of their clash against title contenders, Tampines Rovers. This matchup has produced lots of excitement over the years, and we don’t think this will be different.

The Stages continued their fine form to the season as they triumphed over Brunei DPMM at home. Tampines Rovers found the back of the net three times to record five consecutive victories in the league. 

The hosts have had a pretty solid start to the season, heading here without a defeat over their last seven matches. The Stags are tied on points with Lion City at the top of the table, and we can see them challenge the league leaders this season.

Tampines Rovers have won twice and drawn a game on the road this season.

Over their previous twenty games, Lion City have won eight while Tampines Rovers have recorded seven victories and drawn five. Tampines Rovers have been in decent form lately and have conceded once in four matches. They have also won five consecutive matches, and a victory here will give them the edge in the race to win the SPL title.
