Namibia vs Cameroon Prediction: The guests are the closest to securing the maximum points here

After failing to make the top two teams in the group, Namibia will play for pride against Cameroon at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday. The Brave Warriors have had a poor run in this campaign, losing four consecutive matches, and it’s the end of the road for them. However, coach Collin Benjamin stressed that his side won’t leave without a fight against the unbeaten Indomitable Lions. 

Namibia

The Brave Warriors dropped off fifteen places in the new FIFA Ranking following their terrible run of four consecutive defeats in the ongoing AFCON Qualifiers. Namibia were once again below par as they were overwhelmed by Zimbabwe on the road. After a quiet first half without any meaningful chances between both teams, Zimbabwe scored three while Namibia responded once. This was after their (0-1) home loss against Zimbabwe, (1-2) home defeat against Kenya and (1-0) opening-day defeat. 

Namibia have been unable to win any of their last six games in all competitions. Namibia's previous appearance in this qualifier ended with just a win in four games, finishing second on the log. They are treading the same path, having played four games without a win. 

Namibia will hope to override the reverse leg defeat, and they must be at their best to achieve that here. 

Cameroon

The Indomitable Lions maintained their momentum in this tournament, becoming one of the few teams to grace the AFCON tournament in Morocco next year. Cameroon, who defeated Kenya (1-0) on the road, booked their place in Morocco, picking up ten points from a combined twelve. 

Cameroon have drawn once and won three in the group, scoring six and conceding once. The Indomitable Lions have picked up ten points from a possible nine, sitting at the top spot on the log. 

Cameroon's job is done on the ground, and we have a feeling they’ll rest some of their key players for this encounter. 

Expert Betting Tips

Both teams have won once and a game ending in a tie over their previous three meetings. The Brave Warriors are yet to taste a victory in six games in all competitions. Namibia were below par against Zimbabwe and are out of the race for the AFCON Tournament in Morocco next year. The guests, on the other hand, have booked their ticket for the tournament, winning three and sharing the spoils once.

It’s advisable to apply caution here as both teams have nothing to play for except for FIFA Ranking. Since this game will be held in South Africa, I think Cameroon stand a better chance regardless of who they feature. We expect to see more goals after the break for 2.18.
