Oman vs Iraq Prediction: Both are aiming for second spot

The past week Oman secured three precious points toward the objective of qualifying for the World Cup on its debut but left it late. Currently, Oman sits in fourth position on the table; a win combined with a loss by Jordan could see them move into second place temporarily, putting Oman in the running for an automatic qualification for the 2026 finals. Under Rashid Jaber since September, Oman have rescued a qualification campaign, winning two of their last three after beginning with two losses in round three. As Oman heads into the fourth round of the 2022 qualifiers, it enjoys a three-point lead over Kuwait for the last available qualification spot for round four. A win on Tuesday would be the first successive victory that Oman has chalked in a long time since they had picked three consecutives between March and June.

But they have managed to win all their last three matches at least. Indeed, in the opening game of this round, they won 1-0 against Oman.
