Panetolikos vs PAOK Prediction: Panetolikos are difficult opponent this season

The match between Panetolikos and PAOK is definitely one of the most interesting in the 15th round of the Super League in Greece. The hosts are one of the most pleasant surprises in the league, they play very well and are in the upper part of the table, while PAOK are current champions and one of the main contenders for the trophy once again.

PAOK had a bit of a crisis in October and November, especially in the Europa League, but recently they play at the expected level again. In the Europa League, they had a few big wins against RFS away 2:0 and last week against Ferencvaros at home 5:0. Now they have a chance to advance to the next phase which was their primary goal, while in the league they are in 3rd place with 27 points, eight wins, three draws and three defeats, only three points behind AEK and Olympiakos. In the last five matches in the league, they have three wins, a draw, and a defeat and I expect this team to continue their good run in this match, although I don’t believe it will be an easy match for them.

Panetolikos’ last win against PAOK was in 2015, and it certainly shows the difference in the quality between these teams over the years. However, this season Panetolikos play much better, and maybe with a little bit of luck they can surprise the champions. PAOK on the other hand are also playing well recently and I expect an interesting duel with many goals I think that in the end, PAOK will win as a more experienced and individually better team.
