The Green Eagles had one of their worst seasons ever, as they finished below the top four for the first time since 2017. Raja Casablanca ended in sixth place, three points below the fourth spot and twenty-four points behind the league leaders.

They were one of the worst away sides in the league this season; they lost seven, drew six, and won just two. Raja Casablanca eliminated Hassania Agadir on (3-5) penalties in the round of sixteen and knocked out SCC Mohammedia after 120 minutes of play.

In the semifinal, Raja Casablanca benefited from Wydad’s own goal to secure the ticket to the final. When they got the goal, the Green Eagles fell back and protected the lead.

Raja Casablanca have won this Throne Cup eight times, the most recent being in 2017.

The Orange Boys head here after their resilience performance against FUS Rabat. After taking the early lead through Youseff Zghoudi, the visitors responded with the last kick of the game. Both sides endured the extra time without a breakthrough as Berkane won from the penalty shootout on (5-4) aggregate.

Berkane finished below the top four for the second consecutive season and will strive to win this trophy to console their fans. RSB Berkane played against two second-division sides and were lucky in the quarterfinals in their journey to the semifinals. RSB had to wait till the first extra time to defeat struggling Chabab Houara on a (1-2) aggregate.

The Orange Boys have won four, lost once, and drawn a game over their last six in all competitions. RSB Berkane are the defending champions in this tournament following their (3-2) penalty win over Wydad Casablanca last year.

Over their previous twenty meetings, RSB Berkane have won four while Raja Casablanca have recorded seven victories and nine games ending in a draw. Raja Casablanca have won three consecutive matches against RSB Berkane. RSB dominated their opponent FUS Rabat in the semifinals but were punished in the 98th minute when the visitors found the back of the net. The play was dragged to a penalty shootout, where they won on (5-4) aggregate. Meanwhile, Raja Casablanca enjoyed a gift from Wydad in the semifinal when Arsene Zola put the ball in his own net. Raja Casablanca secured the lead and defended it to reach the final. No team has won this trophy back to back since 2009. RSB Berkane are the defending champions after defeating Wydad Casablanca in the final last season. Going by both teams' performance of late, Raja Casablanca have impressed the most and have won against RSB Berkane in one of their worst seasons ever. It’s a simple decision for us as we expect the Green Eagles to triumph here for 1.95.

The new Raja Casablanca coach is a great tactician and a serial winner, and we are confident they’ll win this trophy. However, RSB Berkane won’t go down without a fight; bet on BTTS for 2.19.

We expect Raja Casablanca to win or draw and score more than once for 2.10.

Good luck!
