Kaizer Chiefs vs Royal AM Prediction: The Amakhosi will be keen to get off to a strong start

Three days after securing their second win of the season, Kaizer Chiefs are presented with another opportunity to amass all the points when they face off against Royal AM at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

The Amakhosi pulled off a stunning win over Richards Bay on their home turf. After a pretty aggressive start from Kaizer Chiefs and being ahead at the break, the game took a new turn when Reeve Frosler received second caution and were reduced to ten men. Kaizer Chiefs were still the better side as a quick counterattack from the hosts led to another goal. The guests couldn’t take advantage of the situation even though they did score, as the game ended in a (2-1) victory for Kaizer Chiefs.

They fought so well but couldn’t hold on for long as Golden Arrows capitalised on their weakness to secure (2-3) victory on the road. 

The visiting team, who escaped relegation last season by just a point, have failed to make any signings for the second year running. Royal AM, who still owes Samir Nurkovic R12 million, have been banned by FIFA and will continue with the same players as last season.

Royal AM have picked up seven points from a possible twenty-four, scoring six and conceding six this season.

Expert Betting Tips

Over their previous twenty meetings, Royal AM have won seven while Kaizer Chiefs have managed four wins and nine games ending in a tie. Kaizer Chiefs played like a team in their most recent match, holding on to their lead despite being a man down. They’ll face off against a Royal AM who have not been bad this campaign.

Considering the way Kaizer Chiefs played against Richards Bay, the guests stand no chance here. Royal AM, who have been sanctioned by FIFA, will play this game without one of their key players, and I think the hosts will secure all the points for 1.75.
