Celta vs Getafe Prediction: The visitors won't lose

The 11th round of the Spanish La Liga will end with Celta vs Getafe. The home side from Vigo is the clear favourite, despite a three-match losing streak.

October has not gone well for the team so far. They started well, beating Betis 1:0 on home soil, but then they lost three games. Celtic lost away to Barcelona 0:1 and Valladolid 1:4, and on home soil, they were weaker than Real Sociedad. In other words, the defeats to the Catalans and Basques were predictable, while the loss to Valladolid on the last matchday was a real shock to Celta fans. Before the start of Sunday's pool, Celta is 15th in the La Liga table, just two points ahead of Girona. The Sky side's home statistics are 14th in the division, +2=1-2, and 8:8 goal difference.

Getafe

Like the Celts, Getafe has nothing to boast about in October. They played four matches and scored just two points against Rayo Vallecano and Atlético. There were also home defeats to Real Madrid and Valladolid in this period. As a result, they are in 17th place in the La Liga table, and it's possible that they could be in the relegation zone. Their away statistics are 14th, +1=1-2, and 4:8 goal difference.

Expert Betting Tips

We think the bookmakers overestimate Celta. They are clearly in crisis, and the match against Valladolid is proof of that. There has not yet been a coaching change, so we can't expect the game to improve in the coming matches. Getafe also has nothing to boast about, but the Citizens at least didn't lose in their last two games. We predict that the visitors won't lose on Monday. Although we doubt they will win, we expect a draw and a total under.
