Grasshoppers vs Basel Prediction: Basel expected to turn defeat into victory

In their opener against Lausanne, Basel were defeated 3-2, with three first-half goals conceded were too much for this team to handle. However, against Lugano last weekend, Leo Leroy’s goal in the 50th minute was not enough to secure at least a point for them, as goals from Ignacio Aliseda and Kacper Przbylko were good enough to secure maximum points for Lugano. Heading into this game, Basel are one of the three sides with no points yet in the league, as they sit 10th on the log. 

Expert Betting Tips

I expect an improved performance from Basel in this game after a less-than-impressive performance in their opener. However, Grasshoppers have not been too good this season in defense, conceding four goals in just two outings. Looking at the two sides, their defense is weak, and with solid performances in front of the goal, a bet on goals is a good option. Also, Basel look better as a team in this fixture, and while I believe they will have a tough time, a win for them is very possible.
