In the meantime, their first three matches prior to that win saw Luzern lose two and draw one. This season, Luzern have 14 points from a possible 21, leaving them seated 3rd in the standings. 

Basel

Basel played Zurich the last time out in the league and lost 0-2. In that encounter, this team conceded in each half. Pulling off 58 percent of the possession, Basel could only one shot on target out of the six attempted. Heading into this game, Basel have won only one of their last four matches, coming after extra time against Stade Nyonnais. In their first seven games of the season, Basel have 10 points, leaving them seated 7th in the standings.

Basel have struggled in the last weeks, and they do have a point to prove in this game. While Luzern also returned to winning ways this season, they still do not look like a threat, having struggled since the beginning of this month. The two teams should be able to get their chances offensively in this game, but a win for Basel on the road is worth considering.
