In a match that ended 4-1, St. Gallen had to come from behind after an own goal by Albert Vallci gave their opponent the lead. However, goals from Mihailo Stevanovic and Chadrac Akolo gave this side the lead before the end of the break before second-half goals from Bastien Toma and Vallci. In the meantime, this team still has not picked a point in the league this season, having started their campaign with a defeat to Winterthur.

Young Boys

Young Boys are having a bad season and will look to turn the tables here. This team took on Sion in a home game in their opener and lost. However, the midweek game against Servette was not good, as they were thrashed 3-1. Heading into this fixture, Young Boys are seated in the bottom spot of the league standings, their worst in the last few seasons. Yet, this team will have high hopes going into this game as they have lost just one of the recent meetings against St. Gallen.

This game will be close, but I will back Young Boys. Having been short of expectations in their first two games this season, I believe they will do better here. While St Gallen will also look to draw inspiration from their Conference League qualification win over Tobol, I still feel they won't be able to pick a point in this fixture.
