Thun and Grasshoppers will square it off at the Stockhorn Arena in the second leg of the relegation group encounter of the Swiss Super League. The first leg encounter ended in a 1-1 draw here. Which team secures their league spot?

Thun

Thun have all to play for in the second leg encounter of this game. Having been able to pick a draw on the road in the first leg encounter, this team is now in good position to get the job done at home turf. In that first-leg encounter, Marc Gutbub put Thun in the lead in the 52nd minute, but while they could not hold onto that goal, they now have home advantage to show what they can offer. Note, Thun have an incredible unbeaten run of six games to this one, winning four and drawing two.

Grasshoppers

Grasshoppers will hope they can do better in this second-leg encounter to avoid being relegated. In the first leg encounter, this team needed a last-minute equalizer from Giotto Morandi to keep them into this game. In the meantime, Grasshoppers have not had the best of their performances lately, picking just one win in their last five games, coming against Yverdon. However, other encounters did see Grasshoppers lost to Basel while they drew Luzern and Lausanne.

On the other hand, Thun have been excellent in every single recent game and have consistently shown what they have got. Following a solid first-leg performance, it is tough to expect a less-than-more-impressive performance from the home side here.
