In the African Nations Championship, Togo will play Niger at Stade de Kégué. The two teams' last matches have ended without a draw. Will this game outcome be the same? Below, I will preview this game and make predictions. 

Togo

Togo played Ghana the previous time out in a friendly encounter and lost 0-2. However, that defeat was their second defeat in recent games, having struggled against Liberia in a prior encounter. Yet, they pulled off wins over Benin and Equatorial Guinea, ending 2-0 and 3-0, respectively. However, in their last home matches, Togo have lost twice, one against Algeria. Yet, this team settled for draws with Libya, South Sudan and Liberia, securing only two wins in their last nine matches in this venue. 

Niger

Niger's last encounter was against Burkina Faso, and they drew. However, prior encounters to that draw saw this team lose to Angola and Burkina Faso but defeated Sudan and Ghana. In the meantime, those two wins were their best results in recent matches, as they lost to Angola and Sudan and picked a point against Ghana. Away from home, Niger have two wins in their last five games, one being an awarded victory against Congo.

Togo should win this game, and I expect a lot from them. While Niger have struggled away from home, their recent performances have not been too good either. The two teams are struggling, but I feel that the home turf advantage will be huge in this game. Yet, I believe this game is an open game, and while the two teams will struggle defensively, a bet on goals is a good option.
