Borac vs Olimpija Ljubljana Prediction: We don't think Borac will win this one

Another pair in the last 32 Conference League will pit Bosnian side Borac of Banja Luka against Olimpija of Slovenian Ljubljana. The first-round meeting will take place in Bosnia. Who will be stronger?

Borac secured a place in the Conference League play-offs in the final round of the main stage. The Bosnians hosted Omonia of Cyprus and could not score or concede a goal in a 0-0 draw. The result leaves the Bosnians on eight points, one point ahead of 25th-placed Omonia, who are 20th in the final standings.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina championship has yet to resume after the winter break, and after 17 rounds, Borac is second in the standings, three points behind leaders Zrinjski. On the eve of their meeting with Olimpija, Borac played in the National Cup, beating Celik Zenica 3-0 in the round of 16

Olimpija Ljubljana

The Slovenians played the main phase of the Conference League with more confidence than Borac. Olimpija lost only two of their six matches and won three. As a result, the Ljubljana side finished 14th in the standings with 10 points, just one point outside the top eight. It should also be noted that Olimpija conceded just six goals in six rounds, four of which came in the same game against Serkl Brugge.

In the Slovenian championship, Olimpija played two matches in 2025 and won both of them—5-0 at home to Primorje and 2-1 away to Koper. After 20 rounds of matches, the capital city side is comfortably at the top of the league table with a 6-point lead. Olimpija has won 13 and lost just one of its 20 matches.
