Finland vs Romania Prediction: Finns will score points

Finland

Finland missed out on the upcoming 2022 World Cup. The Finns finished third in qualifying with 11 points from eight games, one behind second-placed Ukraine. They made an excellent start to the Nations League in the summer, drawing a 1:1 friendly with Bosnia and Herzegovina and beating Montenegro with a score of 2:0. Since then, however, they have suffered two defeats - 0:1 against Romania and 2:3 against Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Group 3, they are in third place with four points.

Romania

The Romania squad is also, of course, missing out on the 2022 World Cup. The Romanians scored 17 points in qualifying and finished third in the group, one behind second-placed Northern Macedonia. They looked miserable in June's Nations League encounters, picking up only one win in four games - a 1:0 win over Finland. There were also three defeats, 0:2 and 0:3 against Montenegro and 0:1 against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Romania is last in Group 3 with three points.

Expert Betting Tips

We would suggest betting on Finland. The Finns are playing at home in Helsinki and look better than Romania in the Nations League. They are indeed looking to avenge their defeat in June. We think that they will at least manage not to lose this encounter. We also expect at least two goals from both sides.
