Columbus continues to change and renew but is unlikely to meet serious challenges in the foreseeable future. In the offseason, the Jackets invited Johnny Gaudreau, who became the team's main star. In four starting meetings, Mike Sullivan's wards have missed only one point, having lost to Montreal in overtime - 2:3, and they won against Arizona, Tampa Bay, and Los Angeles with a total score - of 18:5.
