Vegas can't be happy with their performance after the Four Nations tournament. They picked up two points in their last two meetings, beating Vancouver 3-1. On the road, however, the Knights' potential disappeared in a 5-2 defeat to Los Angeles. That makes it difficult for the team to consolidate their position in the top three. Below them, Edmonton and Minnesota are breathing down their necks, with just two points less. So, Vegas will have to step up their game, or things could worsen.
Chicago Blackhawks
Many thought the break for the Four Nations Tournament would be good for the Hawks, but it hasn't been. Chicago has failed to earn a point in three games, losing first to Columbus by four goals, then to Toronto by three, and finally to Utah by one. As a result, the Blackhawks continue to carry the burden of being the NHL's worst team. They now have 41 points, just three more than last-place San Jose.
