On the eve of the game with New York Islanders, the Golden Knights made a successful double-double, beating Chicago (4-1) and Winnipeg (6-5). Unfortunately for Bruce Cassidy's team, they can't boast such successful results at home just yet. In 15 games at home, Vegas has only eight wins and seven losses in regulation time. At the same time, the Knights have won 14 of their 17 away games. It looks like even the hockey players in Las Vegas can't tune in to a hockey game.  

NY Islanders

The Islanders have failed three straight games - to Boston (3-4), Carolina (0-3), and even Arizona (4-5). Ilya Sorokin had not a very good game against the Coyotes, conceding two goals in 14 seconds of the second period, which was a key one in the end. The Islanders have 17 wins in 31 games and only eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
