The UFC 300 tournament will take place in Las Vegas on April 14th. The main event will feature a bantamweight title fight between Alex Pereira, the current champion, and Jamal Hill, the top-ranked contender.

Pereira is a unique fighter, having had a successful career in professional kickboxing as a two-division Glory champion before being invited to the UFC after only four MMA bouts. The league's matchmakers made a good decision in selecting him. After three warm-up bouts, including one against Sean Strickland, Pereira faced his old acquaintance Israel Adesanya, the reigning dominant middleweight champion at the time, and knocked him out.
Pereira then moved up a weight class and became champion there. He won the title by split decision over Jan Blachowicz and then by TKO over Jiri Prochazka. The upcoming fight with Hill will be the first time the belt is defended in the light heavyweight category.

Jamahal Hill
Until 2021, Jamahal Hill was not considered a top contender for the championship. However, after losing to Paul Craig, Hill won his next four bouts, three of which were by knockout. He received a bonus for each of these victories and ultimately won the belt in a fight against Glover Teixeira. Unfortunately, Hill could not defend his title due to injury and had to relinquish it. However, Jamahal remains at the top of the rankings and poses a threat to anyone who faces him in the cage.
Expert Betting Tips
We are confident that this fight will not last long. Pereira can knock out his opponents with his powerful punches and devastating low kicks, while Hill will work by the book. It is yet to be determined who will come out on top.
Both sides will make mistakes, and if no one is knocked out in the first half of the fight, the outcome will be decided in the later rounds. Considering Jamahal's extended downtime and uncertain condition after injury and surgery, Pereira likely has a higher chance of knocking an opponent out.
