Another UFC Fight Night tournament is happening on June 16th in Las Vegas. The main card will feature a fight between Kazakh fighter Asu Almabaev and American Jose Johnson in the lightest weight category.

Asu Almabaev is a former world champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. His professional MMA career has been marked by victories, including the M-1 Global and Naiza FC belts. Since his UFC debut last year, he's shown his prowess by winning two fights in a row. In his previous bout, he demonstrated his confidence and skill, although he didn't manage to finish his opponent, CJ Vergara. If you look closely at his record, though, you'll see that he often wins early, usually by submission.
Jose Johnson
Jose Johnson is a 29-year-old middleweight with a 1-1 record in the UFC. He's more of a striker but dealt with his opponent by submission in his last fight.
Asu is being led and given fighters to pass. He's slowly getting better. It'll depend on how Asu keeps moving. I think he'll move the fight to the ground. He's got a good wrestling. He'll reposition and torture him. Asu's the favorite? Yeah. He'll win in a heartbeat.

Jose is unlikely to give Almabaev any severe problems, though he'll try to keep him at range and smash him from afar, taking advantage of his size. Nonetheless, speed and reflexes will allow Asu to move the fight to the parterre, where it will be a matter of technique to finish Johnson.
