Mackenzie Dern has been competing in the UFC since 2018 and even though she loses quite often, she is going to the top of the rankings systematically and has, thanks to her looks and social media, a huge army of fans.

The Brazilian has an awesome jiu-jitsu base, wins most often with submissions and regularly picks up bonuses. She managed two fights in 2024 - she lost to Amanda Lemos and defeated Lupita Godinez (both ended in judges' decisions).

Amanda Ribas, much like her opponent, is a basic wrestler, but there's more to her skills than that. Ribas is pretty good on her feet as well, moving well and breathing well. Yet her skills have not been enough to get her a title fight so far, she has consistently lost to the tops, and in her last fight she lost to Rose Namajunas in five rounds by unanimous decision.
