The LFA 197 tournament is happening in São Paulo on the night of November 23rd. The main event will be a title fight between Russian Natalia Kuzyutina and Yasmin Guimaraes from Brazil. Bookmakers aren't sure who'll come out on top. 

Natalia Kuziutina

Natalia Kuziutina is a Russian judoka who has won a title, taken home an Olympic bronze medal, and been crowned European champion four times. She's also picked up multiple world championship medals, won the Universiade, and is an Honoured Master of Sports. She's quite popular in the sporting world, especially after she beat not just anyone but the President of the country. In 2022, Natalia made the move to MMA. She now lives and trains in the USA and competes in overseas leagues. 

Kuziutina is an interesting case. She's only suffered one defeat so far and often wins by submission. She's got her sights set on the UFC. On the other hand, she's very competitive, having only had five bouts last year, and already has time to fight in 2024.

Yasmin Guimaraes

Yasmine Guimaraes is a 28-year-old Brazilian who has competed in various leagues, including American, Brazilian, and European (KSW). She's never been one to finish her opponents off. She only had two early victories to show for it and failed. Guimaraes last fought in May this year, beating Naizi Cantanhede (who had a 7-0 record then) on points.
