London Irish vs. Harlequins: Quins have a chance to win the huge derby against London Irish in Brentford

On Sunday, 3rd April, London Irish will face Harlequins in a West London derby. London Irish were defeated by Northampton last weekend, giving them significant ground in the hunt for a top-four finish in Premiership Rugby. London Irish were defeated at home in their most recent league encounter by Northampton Saints. That was also by a large 20-point margin. The Exiles have now suffered back-to-back Premiership Rugby defeats, and their chances of finishing in the top four are dwindling. Last weekend, the setback over Northampton Saints ended London Irish's incredible run of home form. Before the blunder, the Exiles had won seven consecutive home games (all competitions). London Irish did beat Exeter Chiefs and Saracens during their winning streak at home. As a result, they are more than capable of knocking down formidable foes. London Irish defeated Harlequins 22-19 in Round 9 of this season's Premiership Rugby. They last achieved a season double against their opponents in the 2017/18 season. This will be London Irish's second home meeting versus Quins at the Brentford Community Stadium, with the Exiles losing 25-21 the previous season. The Exiles have only won one of their past five home games versus their neighbours. Three of those four defeats resulted in the Exiles receiving a losing bonus point.

Harlequinns on a Rull

Harlequins have been on a roll as the season comes to a close, winning their past four games in a row. They've also won two games in a row away from home in the league. Quin scored at least 29 points in both matches over the Worcester Warriors and the Bristol Bears. Quins last won three consecutive Premiership Rugby away games in December 2020.
