Ospreys vs Lions Prediction: Lions will not disappoint at home

Parc y Scarlets will host the Europe Challenge Cup encounter between Ospreys and Lions. The two teams are coming off a defeat. How will they approach this fixture?

Ospreys

Ospreys played Zebre the previous time out, and they lost. Ospreys had a very poor performance in that encounter, losing each half with scores of 12-10 and 10-7. However, Ospreys have lost four of their last five games against Munster, Bulls, and Ulster. In fact, their lone win in recent encounters was against Edinburgh, coming in the URC Round six, which ended 22-13. As favourite, Ospreys will hope to be at their best again and win in this home fixture. 

Lions

Lions' last encounter was against Munster, and they lost. In a game that ended 17-10, the Lions had a strong first half, winning 7-10. In the meantime, their performance in the second half was very poor, as they failed to score while conceding 10. However, Lions have lost consecutive matches, the first coming against Leinster. However, this team defeated Ulster, Edinburgh, Dragons and Zebre prior to those defeats. While they are on the road, Lions will hope to step up their game and show character as they are the underdogs.

The two teams are struggling, but the home team is the favourite. While Lions have been a bit better this season, Ospreys are expected to have a tough job at home.
