In July 2025, at the IBSF World 6-Red Snooker Championship in Bahrain, Wales' Riley Powell made history by becoming the youngest-ever World Champion in 6-Red Snooker. He captured the men's six-red title, adding to the silver medal he won in the men’s under-17 competition just a week earlier. Eighteen-year-old Sebastian Milewski from Poland also claimed the men’s under-21 crown. Their victories marked the end of an exciting 12 days of play at Crowne Plaza Bahrain, part of the IBSF World Snooker Championships. Other winners included Pakistani players Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Hasnain. Asif took the title in the masters competition, while 16-year-old Hasnain won gold in the men’s under-17 category. Powell's journey to the six-red world title was thrilling. He came back from two frames down to win 5-4. His performance featured two 35-breaks in the fourth and seventh frames, followed by a decisive 32-break in the final frame to secure the win. His opponent, Advani, played strong, with a 73-break in the third frame and a 35-break in the fourth. In the semi-finals, Powell faced Fung Kwok Wai of Hong Kong. He fought hard for a 5-4 win, with both players scoring 32 breaks. Advani, too, had a tough semi-final against Aditya Mehta but won 5-4, with Mehta’s high break of 68 in the first frame.

Vladislav Gradinari won the second English Junior Tour event of the season, beating Oliver Sykes 3–2 in a thrilling final at the Woodside Snooker Centre in Dereham. The 17-year-old, who used to be the English U16 and U18 champion, won his second Junior Tour title and is now at the top of the rankings after two rounds. One of the eight seeded players, Gradinari, started the competition on Sunday. The day before, 50 people fought for 12 spots in the main draw. Luke Flanagan, Logan Hall, Asten Sahota, and Yashnai Parmar all did well at first, winning all of their matches without losing a frame. Gradinari did well in the group stage, easily beating Jimmy Pattrick, Jake Crofts, and Sahota to get to the quarter-finals. He came back from behind to beat O'Shay Scott, who started with a 71 break, 3–1, thanks to breaks of 53 and 32. In the semifinals, he beat Dylan Smith by the same score, 3–1. Sykes, who had been the tour leader twice before, got in his way in the final after beating Crofts and Daniel Boyes in two straight whitewash matches. The two split the first four frames, with Gradinari's 72 break standing out. In the final game, the young star kept his cool and made a 48 break to win the title by one point. The English Junior Tour will be at The Crucible Club in Newbury on November 22 and 23. Before then, Gradinari will have to deal with more problems on the circuit as he gets ready for harder competitions in the future.

Jack Bradford comes into this match with a lot of experience and he his set to show why that matters. On the other hand, Riley Powell, the youngster, has been making a name for himself. At such a young age, he has gotten to multiple finals. The worries for him is that he was last active in May and Bradford still competed last month. I am going for Bradford only for this reason.
