Russian tennis star Diana Shnaider is set to play in the final round of the WTA Budapest and she is joined by Bulgarian Aliaksandra Sasnovich for the very last time in the tournament.
Diana Shnaider eliminated Eva Lys in the semi final round to qualify for the final, while Aliaksandra Sasnovich defeated Anna-Karolina Schmiedlova in the semi final stage to also qualify for the final round.

Number 28 best player Diana Shnaider hopes to add another trophy to her collection as she enters the final round of the WTA Budapest tournament. She played her last competitive tournament in the Wimbledon championship where she was eliminated by Emma Navarro in the round of 32. After that she proceeded into the Budapest tournament.

Aliaksandra Sasnovich was handed a disappointment in the Wimbledon qualifying round as she lost the 2nd match to Lea Boskovic. Her return to the court was in the Budapest round of 32.
She started off with a win against Viktoriya Tomova in the round of 32, in 3 sets and then she progressed into the round of 16 where she defeated Maria Timofeeva in straight sets. Sasnovich continued her run into the quarter final and there she eliminated Suzan Lamens in 3 sets before finally defeating Anna-Karolina Schmiedlova in the semi final, in 3 sets.
