Iga Swiatek vs Veronika Kudermetova Prediction: Iga will have no problem making it to the final in Doha

Veronika Kudermetova's next opponent at the Doha tournament will be Pole Iga Swiatek, the world's first racket. The girls twice played each other on Tour, and Iga won in two sets in both matches. So it's no surprise to see Swiatek as the big favorite for the meeting.

The match against Gauff lasted more than two hours, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 in favor of Kudermetova. Kudermetova is in good form, but we wonder if Veronika has a real chance to beat the world number one.

Iga and Veronika have played each other twice on Tour, both on hard but on open hard; both won by the Pole in two sets at the US Open in 2020 and the Indian Wells Tournament in 2021.

As written above, we doubt Kudermetova has any chance of reaching the final of the Doha tournament. Kudermetova is in full order with her form and playing practice. However, almost everything will depend on something other than her but on Swiatek in the upcoming game. And judging from the match against Collins, Iga is back in form, i.e., the fitness of the world number one is great. A year and a half ago, Swiatek allowed Kudermetova to win only one game, as in the match against Collins, suggesting betting on another confident victory for Iga over Veronika.
