Bridgewater Systems has reported a 22% decrease in Q2 profit despite a 41% increase in revenue.

Net profit was $3.2 million, on revenue of $22.7 million.

Margins had shrunk to 66% of revenue, compared to 75% in 2Q09, as a result of increases in operational costs.

The bottom line was also impacted by investments which CEO Ed Ogonek said were aimed at expanding global sales.
