German software developer Comarch Group has announced that its revenue from the telecom, media and IT sectors grew 29.5% in 2009 to €7.8 million ($10.6 million).

The highest growth was recorded in the areas of mobile network evolution and telecom convergence, Comarch said.

The company benefited from business from operators such as Germany's OnePhone, E-Plus and Vodafone d2, T-Mobile International, as well as Polkomtel and the Netherlands' 6GMobile.

These results were achieved despite the slumping demand for IT products and services caused by the economic crisis, Comarch said. In demonstration, the company said its hardware sales 59.9%, and its third-party software sales fell 30.5%.
