Gameloft to develop game for new Terminator movie
Gameloft has signed a licensing agreement with Halcyon to develop, distribute and publish the official mobile game to the first film of the new Terminator trilogy, Terminator Salvation. The game will be available on May 22, the same day of release for the film which is set in post-apocalyptic 2018 and stars Christian Bale as protagonist John Connor.
Google debuts Image Search for Android, iPhone
Google has launched a new Image Search results page for Android, iPhone and iPod touch devices in the US, the UK and Japan. According to Google Mobile Search software engineer Leo Ting, the service enables users to scan up to 20 images on a single results page, complete with details on images of interest.
BBC.com launches mobile advertising
BBC.com has announced it will be enabling advertising on its international mobile site for the first time, allowing advertisers to increase their reach to BBC consumers and opt for specific devices and regions to successfully connect with their target audience. Kym Niblock, BBC.com's managing director, said the new service was launched amid the rapid expansion of the mobile internet market as consumers increasingly desire immediate access to content on the move.
Wattpad expands reach through iPhone, iPod touch
Wattpad said its ebook reading application is now available for free and direct download for the Apple iPhone and iPod touch. The expansion of its service is made possible through a partnership with Five Mobile.

Glu Mobile launches movie-based Watchmen game
Glu Mobile has launched Watchmen: The Mobile Game, which is the fifth title it has developed and published through a license agreement with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution on behalf of DC Comics. Based on the upcoming movie Watchmen, the game takes players fighting through the streets of New York city and the jungles of Vietnam as the masked vigilantes Nite Owl and The Comedian.
