Thailand's AIS has revealed its net profit grew 16% to 4.88 billion baht ($152.4m) in Q2, due to strong gains in non-voice revenue.

The auditor general of India will start a probe into operators’ finances on August 16, suspecting they have been under-reporting revenue to avoid fees.

Chipmaker NXP Semiconductors began public trading on the Nasdaq on Friday, opening at $1 below the $14 offer price. The stock regained most of this decline after hours, reaching $13.97.

HP has lifted its full-year outlook, expecting quarterly revenue of around $30.7 billion up 11% from the same period last year.

Amdocs’ share of the telecom billing market shrank by one percentage point last year but it maintained its lead with a 27% share, followed by Huawei with 8% and Oracle with 6%, according to Analysys Mason.

Nokia Siemens Networks claims a new dynamic frequency and channel allocation (DFCA) feature will boost the capacity of GSM networks within existing spectrum and without adding new base stations.
