Optical vendor JDSU has launched J-Profiler, a new test application for troubleshooting carrier Ethernet networks.

J-Profiler, part of JDSU's J-Complete testing range, provides automatic discovery of VLAN, Q-In-Q, IP and TCP/UDP streams.

It also displays the bandwidth utilization and VLAN user priority set for each stream, allowing for the efficient correction of misconfigured virtual network circuits, JDSU said.

J-Profiler is currently available for the T-BERD MTS-6000A MSAM.
