Reliance Communications (RCOM) and GetJar has entered into a strategic alliance, with the latter offering the former its extensive catalog of over 65,000 free mobile applications.
RCOM’s customers will have access to GetJar apps ranging from games, social networking, sports, entertainment and productivity applications, through its value-aded service platform R-World.
GetJar will also enable RCOM to offer its Apps Store to a large bandwidth of mobile handsets across multiple brands and not remain restricted to a few high-end smartphones.
RCOM will offer the GetJar Apps Store across GSM and CDMA networks.
