US operator Sprint plans to extend its coverage in APAC by the end of the year, through the deployment of new MPLS facilities in the Philippines and Thailand.

Sprint recently grew its US Ethernet footprint to cover four new markets. The network now covers central and northern New Jersey, as well as Stockton in California and Baltimore in Maryland.

Sprint added that it deepened its coverage in a further 10 US markets, and plans to enhance coverage in another 16 later this year.

The company now offers Ethernet access in 28 markets nationwide and 35 countries globally.
