Telecom Career: Tata Com appoints CSO

Tata Communications has appointed Tri Pham as chief strategy officer (CSO) with immediate effect. Pham will also join the Indian telco’s global management committee.

 

In his new role, Pham, based in Singapore, will be responsible for strategy formulation and execution, as well as managing all major strategic initiatives for the company.

 

Pham comes to Tata Communications with over 18 years of experience in the investment banking industry, focusing on the telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) industries in Asia.

 

Most recently, Pham has been running his own consultancy, having moved from HSBC where he was a managing director looking after TMT, Asia Pacific, from 2008 to 2011. Before that, he had work as senior executives at investment banks including ABN AMRO Bank and Merrill Lynch International.
