Azarenka and Badosa to clash in the WTA BNP Paribas Indian Wells Finals

Spanish Paula Badosa and Belarusian Victoria Azarenka are going to clash in the WTA BNP Paribas Indian Wells title game.

Paula Badosa comes into the game after overcoming Tunisian star Ons Jabeur, who recently cracked the top ten WTA rankings. Paula won in two sets, a scoreline that read 6-3, 6-3. She had 33-24 receiving points while a 41-37 service points advantage. Paula committed seven double faults but still won by a wide margin.

On the other hand, Victoria Azarenka had to put on a feisty show versus Latvian Jelena Ostapenko in the Semi-Finals. Jelena took the first set 6-3 but Victoria roared back with a 6-3 set win. In the last set, Victoria had to put every ounce of energy against a stubborn Jelena, ultimately coming through 7-5. Jelena eked out a 45-44 receiving points advantage but Victoria extracted out a 60-55 service points edge.
