American basketball player of the Phoenix Mercury Brittney Griner decided to pause her career for two away games because of psychological problems. This is reported by the Daily Mail.

Recall, Griner played for the Ekaterinburg UMMC from 2015 to 2022. On February 17 last year, the basketball player was detained at Sheremetyevo airport on suspicion of smuggling drugs. The court sentenced the athlete to nine years in prison. On December 8, 2022, Griner was released and exchanged for Russian citizen Viktor Bout, who was serving time in an American prison.
