Famous insider Mike Coppinger reported on his social media that the middleweight fight between Sebastian Fundora and Errol Spence will not happen.
According to the source, Fundora is currently being matched with a new opponent. Currently, Charles Conwell appears the main candidate. It was previously announced that Fundora and Spence were set to fight on March 29.
Fundora last entered the octagon against Tim Tszyu in March 2024. That fight went the distance and concluded in Sebastian's favor by split decision. His record now shows 21 wins (13 by knockout), one loss, and one draw.
Spence's last fight was against Terence Crawford in July 2023. In that bout, Errol suffered a technical knockout defeat in the ninth round. He holds a record of 28 wins (22 by knockout) and one loss.
