Cycling: Lotte Kopecky claims gold in points race

During the World Track Cycling Championship, Belgian cyclist Lotte Kopecky secured a gold medal by coming on top in the points race. The cyclist overcame stalwart Katie Archibald, grabbing 76 points, while second place Archibald lodged 72 points. Meanwhile, Kirsten Wild of the Netherlands came in third place with 60 points. Earlier, Lotte had earned a silver medal in the elimination and omnium races. The Belgian cyclist couldn’t get to the podium during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
