According to information published by the publication Bild, representatives of the Ferrari team have been in contact with Christian Horner, the head of the Red Bull team, for the past two weeks.
It is claimed that the unsatisfactory results demonstrated by Ferrari in the 2025 season were the reason why the top management of the Italian team, in particular president John Elkann, is considering replacing the current head of the racing team Frederic Vasseur with Christian Horner.
Bild emphasizes that Horner has no intention of leaving Red Bull and does not see himself working in any other team.
A few years ago, he had already rejected a similar offer from Ferrari. After eight rounds of the 2025 season, Ferrari is fourth in the Constructors' Cup with 142 points. Red Bull is third with 143 points.
